How we read prices
Every price on TraderToolStack comes from the vendor's own pricing page (or, where noted, its app-store listing). Each tool page links to its source and shows the date we checked it.
Published
Figures without a mark are published by the vendor: billed monthly, or billed yearly as a total.
Calculated ≈
Amber figures marked ≈ were worked out by us, not published by the vendor. Calculated means the vendor publishes only one billing option, so we show the other one for comparison: 12 × the monthly price, or the yearly price ÷ 12. You can't necessarily buy the plan at that price.
Derived ≈
Derived means the vendor shows annual billing only as a per-month price (for example "$29/mo billed annually"), so the yearly total we show is 12 × that figure.
When a vendor doesn't publish a price
We only list prices that appear on the vendor's own pages (or, where noted, its app-store listing). We don't estimate or guess prices. When a vendor doesn't publish a price, we say so in plain words next to the price, based on what its site actually shows: for example "Free, no paid plan listed" when the site offers only a free version and no pricing page, or "Not published" when no price is shown at all.
One-time prices
Lifetime or one-time purchases are shown as a single price marked "one-time".
What we leave out
Promotional, coupon and limited-time prices are left out of the price figures. Where a vendor was running a promotion when we checked, we mention it in the notes on that tool's page.
Currency and tax
Prices are in US dollars, before tax (sales tax or VAT may be added at checkout, depending on where you live). Prices change, so check the vendor's page before you buy.
